Welcome back to 2016, if you may not know this is an Alphabet Addition. You look at the word you're trying to put into a number (e.g. day). Then you look at the letters that are compared to numbers and you do it letter by letter and in the end you have a number.
Day = 14 + 10 + 250 = 274
