Divergent Book

Right now at home I'm reading a book called Divergent. The movie of course was based around the idea of the book but changed a few things. Divergent is a lot related to the Hunger Games which came out before Divergent. I'm really enjoying the book almost as much as the movie!

I think that the front cover should have been the girl and boy back to back with guns in there hands.
It probably matches the story better than this main cover. The book is so interesting I'll probably read it again.

After I finish Divergent I'm thinking of starting a book called the Finisher, Mum's read the Finisher and she says, "It's really good". So I'm looking ford to that book of interest and fantasy. There's all these monsters and fighting.

Hang 'n' With Mum

"See ya later boys" I said as I waved goodbye, Noah & Toby (my brothers) were going to Piha today with my cousins ... lucky! But at least I get to hangout with mum. We never get to hangout at all with her or our dad. so today I'm the lucky one, Mwa ha ha.

Levi's at his new school and this is his second day! So for the start of our adventure together we're going for a doctors appointment. Well really mum is. The cool thing that I get to do is play a math game on her phone. It's called Math Bingo. After that just before we got to the car mum a.k.a Shannon let me choose were to go for lunch, any place at all.

So I chose nothing, it was to hard so I let her chose instead. Can I say after the meal it was good! She took me to a place I've never been to before, "Speight's Alehouse" in Stone Fields. I Ordered some Pizza while mum ordered some Goats Cheese Salad, and can I say that the cheese was mean, Probably the best cheese I've ever tasted. We stayed and chatted for a little while and then left to go home to get ready to pick Levi up from school.

We finally arrive at school but Levi is know where in site. So mum brings out her book and started reading and I play around in the car. I don't know how much time has passed but it feels like an hour, and I finally spot him chatting with one of his mates. He's just passing us when mum calls out " hey son get in the car we're going to get you a new bag", "Ok Mum", Levi replies.

And from there is were my adventure ended. I found it really cool to hang out with my mum for a bit. So Bye Bye and thank you for reading one of my adventures in life!

Something New ( Part 2 )

As soon as my face touched the surface of the water it felt like a brush sweeping across the floor. A massive Sting Ray was just beneath my feet! Finally we start to move, Allen holds on to this rope above us and pulls us along the whole shark tank and back. "Ahh" screamed a girl, I went to go see what was going on & I saw it. A massive female Tiger Shark swimming right passed my very eyes!

30 minutes passed by and it only felt like 10 minutes. We were at our finish. There was one thing that I wanted to do, there were handles at the bottom of the Cage. So I held my breath and under I went.

After we got changed we met up with the rest of the family & swapped places with the others except for Toby who was sadly too short. But that meant that he knows the place off by heart now. There was one thing he loved doing & that was playing this awesome video game about sharks. there also was a cool little park that him and Noah enjoyed.

To wrap things up I'd just like to say thanks for reading my blog. When coming home from Kelly Tarltons I think of how much fun I had hang en with those sharks. I think that I'll remember the time I first swam with the sharks. To wrap things up I'd just like to say thanks for reading my blog. Stay tuned for more adventures.

P.S. Watch out for my next post which is kind of a video!

Something New ( Part 1 )

My family love trying new things. This particular thing is what me and my family has always wanted to do. We're going to Kelly Tarltons for the Shark Cage event! It's when you get to swim with the Sharks! Kelly Tarltons is a giant underground aquarium.

Suddenly I hear footsteps running up the stairs, mum is rushing us to get ready for... the Shark Cage. Only a few minutes later we were in the car on our way, we were LATE! Whilst we were in the car we put on water shoes and our togs.

Speed walking was our new best friend, luckily we had this amazing staff member who showed us a short cut. He was very cool. Then we met our instructor for the time, his name was Allen. He got us wet suits for the Cage, and he even gave some of us these cool singlet hood wet suit. There were six of us not including Allen, there was me, my mum, Noah & these three tourists.

Allen showed us around the place and we even got to see a live sea turtle, Sadly it swallowed some plastic so it's in special care. Then he showed us some cool fish that would pop up out of the water. They thought it was feeding time. We were warned about them biting, and that you would get more hurt with the fish than with the shark.

Finally we get to the Shark Cage. A snorkel was handed to us just before we hopped in the water. The water was chilly & there was Go Pro's that we could use while being in the water.Allen said a lot of rules, if I wrote them all there would be a never ending list. Snorkels on ready to go...
