Write a Letter to the Master

This blog post is about a man who fought in the Maori Battalion in ww2, Our task is to right a letter back to them acting as they were still alive. Jimmy is a Cook Islander and his best friend is Eric. The both fought but, I could only write about one of them.

Dear Jimmy,

Firstly may I say what an honour it was to learn of your time at war. How did you feel when you had blood coming out of your chest and your arm was hanging by the skin? Anyway I hope that you are all right. You were a very brave person and fought well in ww2. How did you feel when you thought that you’d never see your friend again?

Also how did you feel when you did see your friend again? I reckon that you would be pretty glad that the war was over. Your courage was really shown when  you left the group and fought all by yourself and still survived, now that’s some skill, not dieing in the middle of the battle field. You have showed us bravery and you have taught us all a lesson, to never give up even when times are tough.

Yours Sincerely,

Jordan
