The Tragedy That Hit The Titanic

The RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Titanic what a wonderful name for a wonderful Ship. On its first maiden voyage(and last) the Titanic set sail from the port of Southampton,England on April 10, 1912.

I reached to the other side of the bed trying to find warmth instead I felt something cold? I awoke from the water that spread all over my bed. I Immediately got out of bed and warned everyone to  hop onto the lifeboats then the alarm went off. Everyone was panicking. I jumped on the iceberg and so did most of the men hoping that a ship would come. Some of the ladies and kids left on the lifeboat.

As the lifeboats drifted away from the big ship at least 500 survived. But for us when the ship came we froze they were too late. As for the survivors that made it back home they would never tell anyone about this tragedy.

The story about the Titanic is still as real as it was over 100 years ago. The movie is just a deminstrashine of the real thing.

World War 1 Part 1(My Version)

One death after another I now know that it’s WW1 (World War 1). One second I see my mate then another second passes by and then he’s gone. What’s going on? This is so intense! There is nowhere to go, everyone around me is dead with their blood smeared all over them. All I hear is the sound of gun fire. I’m so scared atleast I have my friend Jalen with me.

“J are you alright”, I whispered nervously, “yeah I’m fine”, he replied. “We need to get out of here”, I exclaimed “I know but how”, he asked “we’ll need to make a plan”, I said. So there we were making our plan then someone right behind us got shot! I yelled to everyone, “We have a man down”. I’m going to die, right here, right now. Guns everywhere there is no way out.

Then a man came behind me, he said, “there is one way out of gallipoli”, “where”, I asked. “There are secret tunnels below the battlefield that have battleships that can take us away and ten Thunderbolt jets”, he whispered. “I’ve got three pickaxes and one rope”, I told him, then he told me with surprise, “then lets start digging”.

Almost at the bottom now. It’s been thirty minutes since we’ve last had fresh air. I kept digging until I could feel something. it made a large ‘bang’ noise. We dug nonstop then finally we found it…

Totara Springs

After coming home from a win at my league game I couldn’t wait to hang out with my friends and family in the hot pool at Matamata because we are going to Totara Springs, it is the HM Rage meeting. Sorry I don’t think I properly introduced myself my name is Jordan and HM Rage is a thing where a lot of churches hang out together and have heaps of fun, It’s a christian camp but not only for christians it’s for anyone who wants to come. It’s a Saturday and on Saturdays I go to a league game and this Saturday I hurt the back of my knee and I couldn’t walk properly, we packed and now we’re ready to go.

After two hours of traveling we finally got there, I was exhausted after ;that long and boring trip. I felt like collapsing in a cool pool with the sun out and luckily the sun was out and it really was a beautiful day. But there was one minor problem, it was the middle of a camp which sucked because the campers are really loud and they take up the pool and all of the fun activities. so we had to wait until they had dinner. Did I ever tell you how I got around fast enough well my friend Jonathan Bay had what they call a wait for it… a knee scooter. So what you do is you rest your knee on it and ride around just like a normal scooter.

We then made friends with this little six year old boy Ashton and his friend James who’s nine and we played on the park with them. We were having fun whilst the campers were in the pool. It looked so nice in the pool with all the steam rising over them. Then we went onto the trampolines it was not that cool because my leg was sore and I couldn’t do back flips and front flips.

At nine o’clock it was time for us to go for a swim in the pool because all of the campers were in the dining room eating their dinner. As I slipped into the pool with the water coming up my body I could feel satisfaction. Thirty minutes later I get out and I’m letting off steam then I go for a manu bomb which is when your in a V shape and your bum hits the water first.

On our way traveling home we had dinner at this turkish kebab place and they had the best chips  and they had delicious pizzas and they even had some pillows and a tent for people to have their food in (and sleep). So we had some dinner went  for a little sleep. Now It’s time to start traveling home. It’s bed time now so good night.

It was lovely and relaxing. I had fun but I think that it would have gone better with a bit more of either my friends or family like cousins.

Simon The Boat

This week Louis, Tai and I learnt how to make a little boat and we are going to teach you how to make your own boat. First you need some card, next you need a rubber band then you can draw some fancy designs on it. Thats all you really need and it should kind of work like this. If you were wondering how the boat floats here is a little tip we create a prepalor to push the boat forward. Then you create a bow to displace the water when it moves.

Term Two Immersion Asemmbly

Today is the first day of school and I’m very excited. I’ve been away for so long It feels like forever but it has only been two weeks. The immersion assembly is about to start “And now it’s time for team five”, Mr Burt announced…

Lookout here comes team five and their fancy teachers doing the cat walk down the middle of the hall. “Look at the instruments that they are holding they must have made those instruments up”, I whispered to Jalen. They are learning about sound, I think it would be cool to learn about sound because I could make up my own instrument.

I think that team five's show was the best by far because their music video was amazing and the way they did it with the made up instruments. This immersion assembly was great it worked well with the theme “I Like To Move It Move It”, hopefully next terms theme is going to be even better.
