My Holiday Highlight Reacont
Today I’m going to Parakai Springs with my family and the XLR8 team from touch, to celebrate the end of the season. So lets hit the road with our togs and towel. I hear there’s a water slide, a hot pool inside and a BIG pool outside.
Almost there now, the sun is out and it’s getting really hot it’s a good day for a swim. Opening the door I took a step out of the car and had a big stretch. Excitedly I jumped around with joy. Suddenly, I saw one of Levis mates from the touch team.
Coming close to the gate now I’m getting the chills I’m overfilled with joy. Entering the building I looked over to my right and I saw the pool outside. It was a beautiful day. “OOOOHHHHHHH This is the life”, I exclaimed. Turning my head and I saw two Enormous water slides.
“I Can’t wait to get in that pool” I said. Jumping in the pool I made a big splash. Getting tempted I needed to go for a slide so I asked my mum, “can I please go for a water slide” (because it’s always good to ask for permission) she said yes. So me and my brother Noah went for a slide.
The first time went we were anxious we turned and we slid up the wall and back down. I felt really excited by the time I got to the bottom. I went down the slides too many times I couldn't count. Today was fun with all the different things we did like go on water slides and swim in pools but now it’s time to end it with some ice cream yum yum.

The Adventure Begins
Hello I'm Jordan and for some of you who don't know me I live in Auckland New Zealand but we have friends in Christ Church called the Placids and the Allens. The Placids and the Allens are great friends of ours, the mum of the placids family is called Tarina Placid . Tarina is a good friend with my dad Anthony Samuel who use to work for What Now with her. Any way we were excited that we were going to the south island. So we packed our bags.
Gear packed, ready to roll the adventure begins. Traveling down to Wellington it was getting late and we needed a place to stay we only got to Hamilton we were going to tent by the river but we traveled on and slept at a motel. There was a spa and a pool. The spa was lovely. After the spa we came inside and watched a movie called Real Steel then we went to bed at 12.34 am it was very early in the morning!
We probably woke up at 10.25 am, I was still tired but we had to carry on with the journey. We tidied up the place and left. Two hours later we were getting a bit bored of this trip. "When will this end?" I thought to myself us boys in the car were getting a bit hungry and thirsty. "FINALLY we stopped" I sighed. We stopped at the gas station to get some gas after all we've been traveling for three hours! Gas tank full lets hit the road but this time with a drink and some food.
Near Wellington now all of us getting excited from traveling for six hours wow! Hopping out of the car relieved that we don't have to stay in that car car for another hour. Bang Bang Bang we knocked on the door and heard no reply for a while then suddenly someone opened the door and out came Kristen the mother of a boy named Harry who is the same age than me and the wife to a man named Rodney. Then some more of the friends arrived it was a great night but you always have to sleep so we slept at our friends house.
That morning it was early and we had time to hang out with our friends and played with the Lego. Let me introduce the family The mums name is Jade, the dads name is Shane the two boys names are Isaiah and Jackson, the two girls names are India and Autumn. During the middle of the day me and my brothers were having fun on the trampoline bouncing doing back flips and front flips it was really fun.
Getting cozy in the bed we snuggled up and went to sleep. Waking up around dinner time we were still tired and wanted to go back to sleep. We had the best spaghetti boll for dinner. It was delicious mmmhmm yum yum. After all this will be our last night here in Wellington,so we had to stay up all night because our ferry leaves at 2.00 in the morning so having fun with the last few hours we have spending time with them and the Lego, after a while we had to leave so we hugged and we waved good bye as we left the premises. "I'm so excited about going on the ferry", I exclaimed.
Traveling Back To Auckland
“Whew I’m glad that’s over and done with”. That was the longest boat ride I've ever had and the worst I might add because the water was rocky and bumpy. Here is a little video clip of my reaction after I vomited on the boat on our way back from Kaiteriteri in the south island . When we got off the ferry it was 12.35 in the morning and man was I tired. But just before we got off the boat I vomited again. This is the video clip to watch it:
“We’re here” I said, but we weren't at home. Where were we? We were at taupo at our cousins batch. it was small but they had a river flowing behind their batch and the river was strong. The next day we floated down the river in inner tubes. That was riding in style. Then after, we went for a swim at the beach. We swam across to the other side of the island and we caught some tadpoles. When we came back to the bach we went back to the river but didn't go for a swim we just stayed on the wharf. We saw a cat fish it was only about five inches away from me. That was awesome.
When we came back from the beach it was time to travel back home we said our goodbyes and departed. On the way back from Taupo we stopped at Huntly where we got some MC D's. “We’re home at last”, I said to myself. “T.T.B”Mum said, which means Teeth Toilet Bed, so I tucked myself into bed. "I can't wait until next year" thinking to myself in that little brain of mine.
Good night sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.
