Father's Day

When the moon sparkled and the stars lit the sky then I knew that right then it was only one sleep away from FATHER'S DAY! So that night I watched a movie called IP Man 2 and it's all about this Wing Chun person who is really skilled at Wing Chun, then after the movie I quickly hopped into bed. I tried and tried and tried so hard to get to sleep but it was no use it takes me forever to get to sleep now I can't go to sleep at 7 o'clock any more because of it. Then I finally got to sleep. I yawned from my sleep and realized that it was FATHER'S DAY I just couldn't wait to go to church because I was running it with the Dynamite Bay kids (kids program at church) and I was a worship leader.

After church Shannon (Mum) had to drop the Villi girls off at their house because their mother had just got back from Christ Church and she was too tired to pick them up. Twenty minutes past and still mum hasn't returned to pick us up, then I had an idea “Dad we could walk home,” then Anthony (Dad) agreed to walk us home “But only until Mum comes back.” “OK,” we all replied and started walking home. Then Mum came “oh” I sighed.

Home at last it was good lying down on the big yellow couch, that couch is relaxing. Then I just remembered that the cousins were coming over, I was kinda glad. Then I remembered another thing I was going over to my other cousins house for dinner “yes” I said quietly to myself. After the cousins left time for the next cousins “It just never ends does it.” I arrived at the cuzzies and as I walked threw the door Latte the dog jumped at me and barked and barked, he is so fun.

That night I had so much fun and excitement and so did my brothers. I would definitely want to do that again. After I went home exhausted from all that awesomeness “Good night.”

Rhyming Couplets

A couplet is a two-line poem. The last word of each line rhymes

1.One day I saw my dad,And he was very glad.

2.One day at the zoo I saw a parrot,Then I gave him a carrot

3.One day I heard a buzz buzz and it was coming from a tree,Then I discovered that it was a little honey bee.
